plonk and his big reed noose

Drunk as a lord in Morzine.

Innerleithen

Another Innerliethen uplift, this time Leeroy Brown is along getting some practice in for Morzine.

Specialized Demo 7

We're moving up the world now. A Specialized Demo 7II that was just sitting in Scotby, Carlisle, getting cheaper and cheaper until I had to have it. Biked it back home - 21 miles. Still can't quite believe I done that with this bike.

New Year

This is how to start the year. Wake up, hungover (obviously) get the bike out and go up a big hill in the sub zero temperatures. Ride ends in the local with Guinness.

Last day of the year

Trying with no success to burn off at least some of those extra Christmas calories. An unusual assemblage of riders and Scoob's much lauded Tron jacket.

dirty girl

Too cold to wash the bike outdoors.

Deal

Animal/Commencal race team have eventually came to their senses and for the 2009 season I'll be riding for them, lucky buggers.
Nah, just kidding, this is actually a cut and paste job, if you look closely you might see the join.

Innerleithen

An uplift day at Inners. Cotty with the old Yakuza (bargain, ahem!) showing the mechanical prowess that he is known for - this photo was no doubt followed by a prod and kick. Scoob with the Quarter ton - soon to be the quarter ton cut 'n' shut.

Whita DH

Scoob recently managed to get a bargain DH bike (Norco Atomik) from old Nelly boy. Here he is taking it on an early trip down Whita.

Whita

The first dipping of toes into DH bikes. Scoob bought one, I dropped my seat and pretended.

Fort bill world cup

Outside the Travel inn, Fort William. A group of us dragged the girls along for a weekend of bikes and beers. A good weekend was had by all.

Warbla

The Langholm hill least frequented by bikes, Warbla gets a visit. Good descent down the back. Actually, Timpen gets less visits but I can't be bothered to change that opening sentence.
